Italy's debt load is rising. It currently stands at about 2 trillions of euros. Debt to GDP has reached 130%, a level we were not seeing since World War II. Italy is stuck inside this vicious cycle, risking not to achieve the fiscal targets imposed by the European Commission at the end of 2018. What are the main causes of this situation? Is it all about economic mistakes? About politics? Or both? But, most important, is there any possible way to get out of this vicious cycle?
Res Ethica Association is pleased to invite you to the event The Never-Ending Crisis: the Economic and Political Reasons of the Italian ‘Perma-Recession’, where we are going to analyse and reflect on this issue with two distinguished speakers:
- Professor Andrew Michael Spence, Nobel Laureate in Economic Sciences (2001)
- Professor Francesco Daveri, Director of Full-Time MBA at SDA Bocconi School of Management
